In this final volume, Haoran faces a life-changing decision in order to protect Chihiro from his dark past.

Haoran and Chihiro struggle to maintain their peaceful life together under the constant pressure of Haoran's former employer, Maya. Despite their best efforts, Maya manages to track Chihiro down and abduct him. After narrowly escaping Maya's grasp, Chihiro and Haoran try to resume their normal lives. But Haoran realizes he may never find happiness with Chihiro as long as Maya remains a threat, leading him to make a difficult decision.
